Of course, <em>The Bachelor<\/em> wouldn&#8217;t be <em>The Bachelor<\/em> without a healthy dose of drama &#8212; after all, it is a reality show. Chris Harrison, host of The Bachelor for the past eight seasons, is opening up about the scandal surrounding the new season of the hit docusoap. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.popcrunch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/The-Bachelor-Season-14-Scandal-500x346.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"The Bachelor Season 14 Scandal\" width=\"500\" height=\"346\" class=\"alignright size-large wp-image-86304\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On Monday, Harrison confirmed that a male producer was fired from <em>The Bachelor: On The Wings Of Love<\/em> after <a href=\"http:\/\/www.popcrunch.com\/the-bachelor-affair-with-crew-member-scandal\/\">confessing to beginning a romantic relationship with one of the female contestants<\/a> that was supposed to be competing for the affection of pilot Jake Pavelka.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-87362\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;It was incredibly unfortunate, horrible decisions were made, this is something we took very serious and we couldn&#8217;t just sit by,&#8221;<\/em> Harrison told 104.3 MYfm&#8217;s Valentine in the Morning.&#8221; <em>&#8220;In fairness to Jake and the other women, [we thought] let&#8217;s just nip this in the bud, take care of it and that&#8217;s what we did.&#8221; <\/em><\/p>\n<p>The explosive scandal, which includes a confrontation between Chris and the producer, will play out on the show.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;When it unfolds, it&#8217;s pretty uncomfortable&#8230; I felt bad for everyone.&#8221;<\/em> <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/feedads.g.doubleclick.net\/~a\/St116BzGhNsuIh_8cjyNtnmLQi0\/0\/da\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/feedads.g.doubleclick.net\/~a\/St116BzGhNsuIh_8cjyNtnmLQi0\/0\/di\" border=\"0\" ismap=\"true\"><\/img><\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/feedads.g.doubleclick.net\/~a\/St116BzGhNsuIh_8cjyNtnmLQi0\/1\/da\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/feedads.g.doubleclick.net\/~a\/St116BzGhNsuIh_8cjyNtnmLQi0\/1\/di\" border=\"0\" ismap=\"true\"><\/img><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Season 14 of The Bachelor premieres tonight on ABC.
