‘2009 has been a year of endless wars and man made pestilence. And 2010, looks like more of the same. <\/font>Pandemic Both states are in Or perhaps distract their
\nemergencies have been invoked in failing or failed states such as
\nMexico last spring, and more recently in Ukraine
\n(\u201cUkraine\u2019s Fantom flu\u201d, Foreign Policy, November 25,
\n2009). <\/font><\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n
\ncurrent internal turmoil and are basically being kept afloat thanks to
\nan IMF loan lifeline, or billions in cash infusions. But these economic
\nshots in the arms from the IMF medics also seem to be accompanied by
\nmass scare campaigns fomented from the top and fear mongering
\ntechniques. There is an odd coincidental timing between flu outbreaks
\nand chronic political- economic pandemonium. Are the authorities
\nattempting to cow the population into a state of submission? <\/font><\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n
\ncitizenry from their dismal daily lives, punctuated by falling
\nstandards of living, corruption, rising crime and increasing
\nadministrative incompetence to deal with these blights? Perhaps this is
\njust pure conjecture on my part but allow me to surmise this: the H1N1
\nflu outbreaks seem to be tool to tighten the government\u2019s grip
\nover its increasingly dissenting populace. This tool seems to be an
\neffective one.’<\/font><\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n
