When Britain woke up on the first day of the New Year
\nit was met with freezing cold temperatures, feet of snow in places and
\nthe promise of travel chaos.<\/p>\n

And now, three days into 2010, forecasters have warned to expect
\ncontinued snowfall for the next 10 days \u2013 bringing with it added
\nstress for commuters heading back to work after a festive break and
\nchildren returning to school tomorrow.<\/p>\n

Yet as Britain struggles to cope with the freezing weather
\nconditions, other countries throughout the world are also finding
\nthemselves in the same predicament.<\/p>\n
