Lord Monckton has written a letter<\/a>
\nabout AGW to Kevin Rudd, offering to give the Aussie premier a private
\nbriefing to correct a few misconceptions he may have on the subject.<\/p>\n

On the \u201cconspiracy theory\u201d that the AGW apparatus is really about creating world \u201cgovernment\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Your speech mentioned my remarks about the proposal for
\nworld \u201cgovernment\u201d in the early drafts of what had been
\nintended as a binding Copenhagen Treaty. These proposals were not, as
\nyou suggested, a \u201cconspiracy theory\u201d from the \u201cfar
\nright\u201d with \u201czero basis in evidence\u201d. Your staff will
\nfind them in paragraphs 36-38 of the main text of Annex 1 to the 15
\nSeptember draft of the Treaty. The word \u201cgovernment\u201d
\nappears twice at paragraph 38. After much adverse publicity in
\ndemocratic countries, including Australia, the proposals were
\nreluctantly dropped before Copenhagen.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

On the lessons we ought to have learned from the Europe<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n

The climate ought not to be used as a shoddy pretext for
\ninternational bureaucratic-centralist dictatorship. We committed
\nEuropeans have had more than enough of that already with the unelected
\nbut all-powerful Kommissars <\/em>of the hated EU, who make
\nnine-tenths of our laws by decree (revealingly, they call them
\n\u201cDirectives\u201d or \u201cCommission Regulations\u201d). The Kommissars <\/em>(that
\nis the official German word for them) inflict their dictates upon us
\nregardless of what the elected European or any other democratic
\nParliament says or wishes. Do we want a worldwide EU? No.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
