Earlier today, the Daily Telegraph
\nreported that a truck of explosives and weapons managed to slip past a
\nsurveillance operation in Sana\u2019a, Yemen.<\/font><\/p>\n

\u201cThe revelations came as western
\ndiplomatic missions in Sana\u2019a went into lockdown following
\nthreats from al-Qaeda\u2019s Yemeni affiliate, which has taken
\nresponsibility for a failed attempt to blow up an airliner over Detroit
\non Christmas Day,\u201d the newspaper reported. \u201cThe identity of
\nthose who smuggled the weapons contingent into Sana\u2019a has not
\nbeen disclosed, and it is unclear if its disappearance is linked to
\nal-Qaeda\u2019s increasingly powerful Yemeni branch, al-Qaeda in the
\nArab Peninsula”.’<\/font><\/p>\n
