Sean Penn has rejoined the upcoming film adaptation of The Three Stooges<\/em> just months after dropping out movie.<\/p>\n The Oscar-winning star had been slated to star in a movie based on 1930s comedy icons Moe Howard, Curly Howard, and Larry Fine. In fact, Sean was lined up to play Larry opposite Benicio Del Toro as Moe, and Jim Carey, who was reportedly in talks to play Curly in the The Farrelly Brothers feature.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Sean withdrew from the project in June after reconciling with wife Robin Wright Penn, vowing to take a break from movies to repair his marriage. Robin filed for divorce in August and Bobby Farrelly has confirmed Penn is back on board for the project. The Farrellys are still looking to fill the role of Curly.<\/p>\n “We got him (Penn) back.
