He became type 1 30+ years ago at age 18 &#8211; very similar to my life.  He expresses the awesome bad experiences of LWA &#8211; Low While Asleep &#8211; my newly invented term.  That is an off-the-cuff new word invention &#8211; I&#8217;m sure there is a term that is used for that&#8230; tell me what the term is.  You know &#8211; that bad experience of waking up to your 9 year old daughter spooning marshmallow goo in to your mouth, or the awful wake-up to the roar of an ambulance engine as it carries you to the ER after your family gives up trying to rouse you, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Some interesting ideas he expresses about the failure of the regulatory agencies to allow the tying of pump with CGMS to create a pancreas kludge device.
