You are right on target.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking as a University of Washington alumna, I am discouraged by educators who constantly shout loudly for more state public education funding while, at the same time, are receiving outrageous state salaries and benefits.<\/p>\n<p>Also, UW Provost Phyllis Wise should take a refresher course in Ethics 101 if she cannot see that a conflict of interest exists when she receives a huge salary from a company that has a $35 million contract with the UW.<\/p>\n<p>Irresponsible acts such as these undermine community support for the UW.
