I can&#8217;t really tell the exact extent of my diabetic complications, since I developed a rare autoimmune disease a few years ago which quickly produces some complications quite similar to those of diabetes, so the later condtion masks the effects of the former.  <\/p>\n<p>I am a university medical researcher, and so I naturally have a strong interest in the science of diabetes and its treatment.
