While sales of many models dropped to record lows, sales of the Chevrolet Corvette hit a\u00a0historic\u00a0low of just 13,934 units, the lowest since 1961 &#8211; unofficially.<\/p>\n<p>Officially (according to data from <em>Edmunds.com<\/em>),\u00a02009 was the worst year for the model in 19 years when sales hit 17,472 in 1991.
