Some OEMs have pushed the limit of the netbook definition by incorporating an 11.6-inch screen. Gateway is pushing the limit even harder with the introduction of its newest “netbook”, the EC14D. This new notebook, and I’m calling it what it really is, takes that 11-inch screen and attaches it to an integrated DVD drive. Yes, this little notebook adds the drive that most in its class forego. Other notable components included are the ULV processor and the multitouch capable trackpad.
