This new money supplements funds from existing investors Apax Partners, ARCH Venture Partners, Convexa Capital, Harris &amp; Harris Group, Sevin Rosen Funds and Triton Ventures.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/greenenergyreporter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/Innovalight_Raises_18m_Jan2010-1.pdf\">In a prepared statement<\/a> released Wednesday, Swee-Yeok Chu, CEO of EDB Investments said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The company fits well with EDBI\u2019s investment interest in highly promising growth stage clean technology companies globally and helping them grow their businesses and operations in Asia through Singapore.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Innovalight plans to use proceeds from this Series D financing to scale production.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/feeds.feedburner.com\/~r\/GreenEnergyReporter\/~4\/GQdvg9HutXg\" height=\"1\" width=\"1\"\/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Innovalight, the maker of silicon ink-based high efficiency solar cells, has raised $18 million in a fourth round of funding led by EDB Investments, the investment arm of Singapore&#8217;s economic promotion agency.
