Arenas bares his tattooed chest and arms (no pun intended) in a new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.peta.org\/FeatureGilbertArenas.asp\">PETA ad<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.popcrunch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/Gilbert-Arenas-PETA-Ad-500x658.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"Gilbert Arenas PETA Ad\" width=\"500\" height=\"658\" class=\"alignright size-large wp-image-87937\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday, the Washington Wizards guard &#8212; a three-time NBA All-Star &#8212; was suspended from the league indefinitely without pay for bringing guns to the Verizon Center and related incidents, including a locker room spat with teammate Javaris Crittenton that involved firearms. Despite all this, animal rights group PETA features Arenas in the latest ad for their anti-fur campaign, &#8220;Ink, Not Mink.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-87936\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>In a press release issued Thursday, PETA happily proclaimed that they\u2019re standing by their man &#8212; guns and all.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;From the basketball court to the boardroom, from the controversial figure to the style icon, everyone\u2019s shunning fur,&#8221;<\/em> said PETA Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman. <em>&#8220;Arenas shows that you can have a killer look without killing animals.
