The product is expected to arrive on the market in the second half of this year.<\/p>\n<p>When Intel <a href=\"http:\/\/arstechnica.com\/gadgets\/news\/2009\/08\/intel-tips-moorestown-details-talks-up-x86-smartphones.ars\">lifted the curtain on Moorestown<\/a> last year, the company contended that it would finally make it possible to bring the x86 architecture to smartphones. The claim seemed somewhat fantastical, but now Intel and LG could potentially deliver on that promise.
