{"id":162764,"date":"2010-01-10T18:20:10","date_gmt":"2010-01-10T23:20:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.skyscrapercity.com\/showthread.php?t=1042665"},"modified":"2010-01-10T18:20:10","modified_gmt":"2010-01-10T23:20:10","slug":"staying-in-toronto","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/162764","title":{"rendered":"Staying in Toronto"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Hello from Leeds,in Yorkshire,England<\/p>\n<p>We are coming to Canada in September 2010 and i wondered if members of Toronto Skyscraper could help.<\/p>\n<p>The visit to Canada is for a 40th birthday trip to the Tatnum Peninsula on Hudson Bay.<\/p>\n<p>We will be stopping in Toronto and id like to pick your brains on the hotels.<\/p>\n<p>We would like something modern,comfortable and with some class.<\/p>\n<p>We dont fancy anything like the Fairmont Royal,but we do like the look of the Soho Metropolitan.<\/p>\n<p>However,it isnt cheap,and the views of the neighbouring carpark leave a lot to be desired.<\/p>\n<p>Is there anywhere downton or entertainment district that offers similar rooms to the Soho ,but has a really great view and has easy access to all the amenities such as restaurants,and of course,bars.<\/p>\n<p>Ive also been led to believe Torontons like beer,is that true,and if so,where can we get a shed load of the stuff?<\/p>\n<p>cheers,Chris M<\/p>\n<p>PS,i notice youve loads of places named after places in Yorkshire,Pickering for example.<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello from Leeds,in Yorkshire,England We are coming to Canada in September 2010 and i wondered if members of Toronto Skyscraper could help.
