Richard Heene drew national attention last October, when his 6-year-old son Falcon was believed to be trapped in a flying saucer-like balloon soaring over the Rockies.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-88254\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>He pleaded guilty in November to a felony count of attempting to influence a public servant. <\/p>\n<p>Richard turned himself at the Larimer County Detention Center in Fort Collins, Colorado on Monday morning. Prosecutors said he and his wife, Mayumi Heene, staged their son&#8217;s disappearance to generate publicity for themselves because they wanted to star in a television reality show.
