Ministers are preparing to offload millions of unwanted
\nswine flu<\/a> vaccines, it has emerged, as officials predicted that there
\nwill be no third wave of the pandemic this winter.<\/p>\n

Millions of pounds could be wasted if the Government<\/a> is
\nunable to get out of orders for the vaccine it has placed with
\nGlaxoSmithKline (GSK), the pharmaceutical giant.<\/p>\n

Officials confirmed that they are considering a number of options,
\nincluding attempting to sell or give away millions of the vaccines.<\/p>\n

They also considering whether to stand down the National Pandemic
\nFlu Service, the network of call centres which diagnose swine flu<\/a> and
\nhand out antiviral medications.<\/p>\n
