Not only does the government<\/a> want to see your naked body in full,
\nliving color, they also want to read your mind. \u201cA would-be
\nterrorist tries to board a plane, bent on mass murder. As he walks
\nthrough a security checkpoint, fidgeting and glancing around, a network
\nof high-tech machines analyzes his body language and reads his
\nmind,\u201d reports the Associated Press<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

An Israeli company is developing a system that matches high
\ntechnology up with and behavioral psychology. It\u2019s called WeCU,
\nshort for \u201cWe See You\u201d (the same way Big Brother<\/a> sees you).
\nIt projects images on a wall and monitors reactions of people.
\n\u201cIf you strolled through an airport and saw a picture of your
\nmother, Givon explained, you couldn\u2019t help but respond.\u201d Or
\nif you were a terrorist, the logic goes, you\u2019d respond to a
\nterror group logo or other familiar imagery. The reaction to these
\nimages could be a darting of the eyes, an increased heartbeat, a
\nnervous twitch or faster breathing, said company CEO Ehud Givon.<\/p>\n

If the system observes suspicious behavior, a person is detained and
\ninterrogated. \u201cOne by one, you can screen out from the flow of
\npeople those with specific malicious intent,\u201d Givon said.<\/p>\n

Okay, now the problems begin to arise. We are told the underwear
\nbomber and the shoe bomber and a number of other would-be bombers (all
\nof them in fact false flag<\/a> patsies) are from al-Qaeda, an organization
\nwithout formal structure and no branding or logo (unlike Hezbollah or
\nHamas). The only readily identifiable image associated with al-Qaeda is
\nthe face of the late Osama bin Laden.<\/p>\n

If a large photo of Osama was plastered on the wall at the airport,
\nwhat would your reaction be? You\u2019d certainly dart your eyes. You
\nmay even stand there with your mouth open. You\u2019d likely get
\nspecial treatment by TSA goons.<\/p>\n

How about a lie detector test? The Ministry of Homeland Security has
\nactually proposed this. \u201cOne system being studied by Homeland
\nSecurity is called the Future Attribute Screening Technology, or FAST,
\nand works like a souped-up polygraph,\u201d reports the Associated
\nPress. \u201cIt would subject people pulled aside for additional
\nscreening to a battery of tests, including scans of facial movements
\nand pupil dilation, for signs of deception. Small platforms similar to
\nthe balancing boards used in the Nintendo Wii would help detect
\nfidgeting.\u201d<\/p>\n

FAST project manager Robert Burns said the system could be made to
\nwork passively, scanning people as they walk through a security line.<\/p>\n

How many false positives such a harebrained idea would produce is not addressed.<\/p>\n

U.S. officials are considering the Israeli model for airport
\nsecurity. Israel<\/a> practices profiling. \u201cAt Ben-Gurion Airport,
\nJewish Israelis typically pass through smoothly, while others may be
\ntaken aside for closer interrogation or even strip searches.\u201d In
\nother words, if you are an Arab or a Palestinian, you will be strip
\nsearched and be subjected to body cavity searches.<\/p>\n

Imagine the predictable result of this: thousands of people who look
\nlike Arabs pulled aside with the ultimate result of producing chaos in
\nairport operation. Don\u2019t count on the dim bulbs hired by the TSA
\nto be capable of telling the difference between Arabs and Mexicans.<\/p>\n

This idea, however, thrills the neocons. Blogger and concentration
\ncamp apologist Michelle Malkin went on Fox News the other day and said
\nArabs should be profiled and get the same sort of treatment Arabs
\nendure in Israel<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Finally, the Cato Institute believes airport security should be
\nprivatized. Jim Harper, director of information policy at Cato,
\n\u201cconcedes that privatizing airport security is probably wishful
\nthinking, and the idea has not gotten any traction.\u201d<\/p>\n

Of course it has not gained any traction. Because the idea is not to
\ncatch supposed terrorists (who are demonstrably false flag<\/a> patsies) but
\nis rather part of a government<\/a> effort to condition the public that it
\nis normal (even patriotic) to submit to unreasonable, dangerous, and
\ninvasive \u201csecurity\u201d measures. Airports are incubators for
\ntyranny and the emerging police state<\/a>. It has nothing to do with your
\nsafety and security. It\u2019s all about conditioning you to submit to
\ngovernment<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
