This is a Jay-Z quote but I’m posting it because it applies to Bey as well. The “Beyonc\u00e9 and Jay-Z are devil worshippers and part of the Illimunati” stuff is getting real old and tired. CLEARLY it’s not true, so I just wish people would stop trying to make something of what isn’t there. Earlier today, Jay-z spoke with Angie Martinez of Hot 97 about claims that he is a \u201cdevil worshipper\u201d and part of a secret society:<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t know where it started. I don\u2019t know where it came from. I really think it\u2019s really silly. For the record, I of course believe in God, but I believe in one God. If people must know my religious beliefs, I believe in one God. I don\u2019t believe in religion. I don\u2019t believe in Christians or Muslims. I think all that separates people. I think it\u2019s one God. I think it\u2019s all the same God, and I don\u2019t believe in Hell. But as far as God, of course I believe in God. Am I a part of some sect or cult? That sounds stupid to me. It\u2019s like ignorant to even say, and umm\u2026 I guess that\u2019ll be the last time I address that. It\u2019s ignorant to me<\/em><\/p>\n

I can\u2019t even get in a golf club in Palm Springs. I\u2019m from Marcy Projects. Just think about that? People that control the world?<\/em><\/p>\n

Do you believe that those sort of organizations exist?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I think there are cliques of friends that control things. I don\u2019t if there is a devil worshipping sect. That\u2019s a little Tom hanks. I believe there are cliques of people that control the world\u2026but that\u2019s just natural process. I\u2019m sure Obama has his people and everything is good but as far as how far people are taking it\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n

So you don\u2019t intentionally do this to put people in a frenzy?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019m an entertainer at the end of the day. Maybe I\u2019ll push your buttons but you know\u2026 <\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
