Transpera has raised over $10.2 million in funding, the bulk of which came in its <a href=\"http:\/\/moconews.net\/article\/419-mobile-video-platform-transpera-closes-825-million-in-second-round\/\" title=\"second round\">second round<\/a> in 2008. <\/p>\n<p>Founded in 2007, Transpera&#8217;s previous backers include Flybridge Capital Partners, Intel (<a href=\"http:\/\/finance.paidcontent.org\/paidcontent?Page=QUOTE&#038;Ticker=INTC\" class=\"ticker\" title=\"INTC\">NSDQ: INTC<\/a>) Capital and First Round Capital. The company did not respond to a request for confirmation.\n<\/p>\n<p>Media companies including CBS Interactive (<a href=\"http:\/\/finance.paidcontent.org\/paidcontent?Page=QUOTE&#038;Ticker=CBS\" class=\"ticker\" title=\"CBS\">NYSE: CBS<\/a>), Disney (<a href=\"http:\/\/finance.paidcontent.org\/paidcontent?Page=QUOTE&#038;Ticker=DIS\" class=\"ticker\" title=\"DIS\">NYSE: DIS<\/a>), MTVN (<a href=\"http:\/\/finance.paidcontent.org\/paidcontent?Page=QUOTE&#038;Ticker=VIA\" class=\"ticker\" title=\"VIA\">NYSE: VIA<\/a>) and Showtime currently use Transpera&#8217;s mobile video delivery and ad platform to monetize their mobile content.
