{"id":183495,"date":"2010-01-15T06:04:00","date_gmt":"2010-01-15T11:04:00","guid":{"rendered":"tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9864176.post-3195737231578754261"},"modified":"2010-01-15T06:14:56","modified_gmt":"2010-01-15T11:14:56","slug":"india-approves-solar-implementation-plan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/183495","title":{"rendered":"India Approves Solar Implementation Plan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>REW has an article on India&#8217;s plans for solar power &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.renewableenergyworld.com\/rea\/news\/article\/2010\/01\/india-approves-solar-implementation-plan?cmpid=WNL-Friday-January15-2010\">India Approves Solar Implementation Plan<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The first part of a three-phase programme that could see 220 GW of new solar capacity installed in India has been approved, according to a statement from Gauri Singh, joint secretary to the government of India.<\/p>\n<p>Following on from the country\u2019s National Action Plan on Climate Change, the so-called Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (JNNSM) aims to see solar energy technologies in the country to achieve grid parity by 2022 as well as establish India as a global leader in solar energy.<\/p>\n<p>Phase 1, now approved, will span the remaining period of the 11th Plan and first year of the 12th Plan, up to 2012-2013.
