An ArkeFly flight carrying 235 people from Amsterdam to Aruba in the
\nCaribbean was forced to divert to Ireland<\/a> on Wednesday after an unruly
\nDutch passenger made bomb threats during the flight.<\/p>\n

ArkeFly said Flight 361 landed at Shannon Airport, where the man was
\nhanded over to authorities. There were 224 passengers and 11 crew
\naboard the Boeing 767.<\/p>\n

Irish police identified the man as a 44-year-old Dutch national and said he was in custody.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe came across as a very unstable and aggressive passenger
\nduring the flight and he mentioned several times that he had planted a
\nbomb in the airplane,\u201d an ArkeFly spokeswoman said.<\/p>\n

There was no indication he had attempted to set off any sort of device during the flight, she said.<\/p>\n
