‘An Obama executive order that creates a
\ncouncil of state governors who will work with the feds to expand
\nmilitary involvement in domestic security has stoked fears that the
\nadministration is stepping up preparations for martial law.<\/font><\/p>\n

The order, which is entitled
\nEstablishment of the Council of Governors (PDF), creates a body of ten
\nstate governors directly appointed by Obama who will work with the
\nfederal government to help advance the \u201csynchronization and
\nintegration of State and Federal military activities in the United
\nStates\u201d.’<\/font><\/p>\n
