Right wing radio talker Rush Limbaugh has received<\/a> considerable<\/a> criticism<\/a> for politicizing the earthquake in Haiti this week with a series of inflammatory remarks attacking President Obama. Limbaugh said the White House thinks it can use the disaster to boost its credibility with the \u201clight-skinned<\/a> and dark-skinned black community\u201d in the U.S. Defending his comments, Limbaugh attacked Obama<\/a> for speaking publicly about Haiti sooner than he had the failed Christmas Day terror attack. Today on his radio show, Fox News host Glenn Beck jumped on the bandwagon<\/a>: <\/p>\n

BECK: I also believe this is dividing the nation…to where the nation sees him react so rapidly on Haiti<\/strong> and yet he couldn’t react rapidly on Afghanistan. He couldn’t react rapidly on Ft. Hood. He couldn’t react rapidly on our own airplanes with an underwear bomber…it doesn’t make sense. […] Three different events and Haiti is the only one. I think personally that it deepens he divide to see him react this rapidly to Haiti<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Yet Beck’s premise is fautly. Polling shows<\/a> that majorities<\/a> of Americans approved<\/a> of Obama’s handling of the Christmas Day plot and that it didn’t divide the country.
