Since no one wanted to buy the space shuttles<\/a> when NASA first offered them up for sale, the agency has decided to slash the price to a more modest $28.8 million each. And the engines? Free (pay only S+H).<\/p>\n

Discovery is already headed to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum, but those other two? Atlantis and Endeavour? Totally available and looking to score.<\/p>\n

And the engines I mentioned above originally went for about $400,000 to $800,000 apiece, but no one bit when they were put up for sale in December 2008.
