{"id":193050,"date":"2010-01-18T05:44:00","date_gmt":"2010-01-18T10:44:00","guid":{"rendered":"tag:www.vegan-food.net:\/\/9b996b624887cf32bf13ff36ad22c94b"},"modified":"2010-01-18T05:44:00","modified_gmt":"2010-01-18T10:44:00","slug":"gujarat-cabbage-vegetables-cabbage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/193050","title":{"rendered":"Gujarat Cabbage( Vegetables &#8211; Cabbage )"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Daily Random Recipe<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>INGREDIENTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 cups firmly packed finely shredded cabbage<\/li>\n<li>1 medium onion, halved and thinly sliced<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup grated coconut<\/li>\n<li>3\/4 cup chickpea flour<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger<\/li>\n<li>1 fresh hot green chilli, chopped<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon ground coriander<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon salt<\/li>\n<li>3 tablespoons mild vegetable oil<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup water<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon sesame seeds<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p \/><strong>METHOD:<\/strong><br \/>Position a rack in the middle of the oven and preheat the oven to 180C\/350F.<\/p>\n<p \/>\nCombine the cabbage, onion, coconut, flour, ginger, chilli, coriander, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Toss to mix. Add the oil and water and mix thoroughly.<\/p>\n<p \/>\nPour the mixture into an ungreased 20 x 20 x 5 centimeter (8 x 8 x 2 inch) baking pan. Press lightly to spread in an even layer. Sprinkle the sesame seeds on top. Bake until the top is lightly browned, about 45 minutes. Let it rest for 5 minutes. Cut into 5 centimeter \/ 2 inch squares. Serve hot or at room temperature.<\/p>\n<p \/>\n<p \/><strong>NOTES:<\/strong><br \/>The baked cabbage can be made 2 days in advance and kept, covered, in the refrigerator. To reheat, place the pan in a cold oven and turn the heat to 180C\/350F.
