Here’s a topic that’s been getting much<\/em> more attention than it was just a couple of months ago: the possibility of a bubble and a bust in China.<\/p>\n It’s especially been on people’s minds since the New York Times’s recent profile<\/a> of short-seller Jim Chanos, the criticism he’s received from the likes of Jim Rogers and Thomas Friedman.<\/p>\n So, where does Marc Faber — one of the biggest doomsayer around — fall?<\/p>\n According to CommodityOnline<\/a>, he kinds of has it both ways: Yes, there will be a bust, but it may not happen anytime soon:<\/p>\n “There is excessive credit in China, but the oversupply of money has been used to build the infrastructure, education, and R&D, rather than consumed. And that is the difference between China and US.” <\/p>\n “The China bubble will not burst soon.
