It has been a whirlwind in education, fear, and learning as we go.  I have been through many stages of grief.  I was very angry at first and I still am at times, but things are getting better.  Now I am accepting of her diagnosis and want to ensure that she can live a happy and full life despite needing to be on insulin.<\/p>\n<p>I joined this forum in the hopes of learning more and learning from individuals who actually have the condition.<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My daughter was just diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in November.
