The occasion: SK Telecom will be the first company to distribute an Android phone in that country, the so-called <a href=\"http:\/\/mediacenter.motorola.com\/content\/detail.aspx?ReleaseID=12314&amp;NewsAreaID=2\">Motorola Motoroi<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not a rebranded <a href=\"http:\/\/search.techcrunch.com\/query.php?s=droid\">Droid<\/a>, but a completely new phone (in Europe, the Droid was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mobilecrunch.com\/2009\/12\/11\/motorola-milestone-sells-out-in-the-uk-in-three-hours\/\">named &#8220;Milestone&#8221;<\/a> but remained largely unchanged technically). SK Telecom customers will be able to lay their hands on the Motoroi in early February.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-25023 aligncenter\" title=\"motoroi_2\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mobilecrunch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/motoroi_2.jpg\" alt=\"motoroi_2\" width=\"510\" height=\"444\" \/><\/p>\n<p>But Motorola Korea and SK Telekom representatives are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.koreaherald.co.kr\/NEWKHSITE\/data\/html_dir\/2010\/01\/19\/201001190053.asp\">quoted as saying<\/a> that Motorola is ready to roll out the Motoroi in the US in March, too. And apparently it will be available in a number of other countries as well.<\/p>\n<p>Here are the main specs:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3.7-inch WVGA 16:9 touch screen (480 x 854 resolution)<\/li>\n<li>8 MP camera with Xenon flash<\/li>\n<li>HD video recording (720p)<\/li>\n<li>HDMI interface<\/li>\n<li>TV tuner (<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Digital_Multimedia_Broadcasting#T-DMB\">T-DMB<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>8GB internal memory (microSD card support up to 32GB)<\/li>\n<li>Android 2.0 OS<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In Korea, the Motoroi will be sold for $800.
