Before the pregnancy, I was taking Byetta 10mcg twice daily with 2g&#8217;s of Metformin and, yes, I had a severe case of dawn phenomenon but my HbA1c was at 6%.  Morning sugars were always around 125-150.  I am 34 weeks along, now they are talking about possible inducement at 38 weeks if the insulin they put me on (switched from Novolog to U-500) doesn&#8217;t show an improvement in my current numbers.<br \/>\nI am really insulin resistant with this pregnancy.
