We&#8217;re watching and hitting the key points.<\/p>\n<p>Key highlights:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Says he&#8217;s been a huge beneficiary of the government bailout, though he&#8217;s disappointed by the requirement that Wells Fargo (WFC) raise more shares. He mentions it several times.<\/li>\n<li>He&#8217;s befuddled by the bank tax. &#8220;I don&#8217;t really understand the thinking behind the bank tax.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Why not go after the members of Congress who let Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac fester?<\/li>\n<li>On &#8220;Too Big To Fail&#8221;: <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"background-color: #888888;\"><strong><span style=\"background-color: #ffffff;\">If a bank ever has to go to the Federal Government, the CEO and any CEO previous is wiped ou<\/span><span style=\"background-color: #ffffff;\">t<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span>. <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>&#8220;I want the CEO&#8217;s equation to be, if this place ever goes down, I&#8217;m busted!&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">If I could vote twice for Bernanke, I would. If he&#8217;s not re-confirmed: &#8220;Tell me a day ahead of time so I can sell stocks&#8221;<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Massachusetts: Definitely a referendum on healthcare on other matters.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">On stimulus: Could have been done in a way that had more of an immediate impact.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">On hiring: I&#8217;m not going to hire people just to stand around. &#8220;We&#8217;re worrying about hiring people because of what&#8217;s going in our order book&#8230; we&#8217;re not getting orders yet.&#8221;<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">On Kraft&#8217;s raied offer: &#8220;I feel poorer.&#8221; &#8220;If I had the chance to vote on this, I&#8217;d vot no!&#8221; <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Still, he thinks the stock is undervalued.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">On Burlington Northern: He says he hates issuing stock, and that if they had to pay any more, they wouldn&#8217;t have done the deal.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">On Korean steelmaker POSCO: He says he has no plans to buy more unless the stock drops a lot.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Says he if had choice between holding cash or 30-year-bonds or equities, he wouldn&#8217;t hesitate for a second to hold equities.
