\"\"Chinese-based Hisense is getting in on the Android action and have announced their HS-E90 handset for release later this month. \u00a0Although there are no pricing or carrier details to report yet the rumor is that it will arrive in presumably China first. \u00a0Their website mentions<\/a><\/strong> a few possible markets, including Europe, Africa, and North America. Whether or not we ever get one here in the US remains to be seen. The specs include a 3.5 \u201c HVGA touch screen, 5 mega-pixel camera, FM radio and a 1500mAh battery. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If the images look somewhat fishy you to it’s because what you’re looking at is a simulated screen. \u00a0For some reason, Hisense decided to use Samsung’s Touchwiz icons to simulate the display. \u00a0Take a look at Unwired View’s picture<\/a><\/strong> of a Samsung Impress and you’ll see the exact same icons. \u00a0 If we were to guess, the OS will be stock Android. \u00a0There are tons of standard Android desktop and screen grabs they could have used. \u00a0Why they didn’t is beyond us.<\/p>\n
