{"id":204627,"date":"2010-01-20T16:49:06","date_gmt":"2010-01-20T21:49:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.egmcartech.com\/?p=49411"},"modified":"2010-01-20T16:49:06","modified_gmt":"2010-01-20T21:49:06","slug":"new-mercedes-benz-e-class-helping-daimler-out-of-profit-slump","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/204627","title":{"rendered":"New Mercedes-Benz E-Class helping Daimler out of profit slump"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.egmcartech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/2011_mercedes_benz_e_class_convertible_images_main.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"563\" height=\"338\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Creative Global Investments analyst Sabine Blumel says that strong sales of the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class in the fourth quarter will increase Daimler AG&#8217;s earnings for the quarter and hint at an earnings recovery for the automaker.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The sales improvement at the Mercedes-Benz brand throughout last year was attributable to a rapidly improving model momentum, reflecting the roll-out of the new E-Class family,&#8221; Blumel said.<\/p>\n<p>She said that Mercedes-Benz is set to post higher profits on a moderate increase in sales in the fourth quarter, a trend she says will continue in 2010.<\/p>\n<p>Mercedes-Benz ended December 2009 in the United States selling\u00a020,025 vehicles, up 8 percent from December 2008.
