Gordon Brown has confirmed VAT will be waived on all sales of single in the UK.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/news.bbc.co.uk\/1\/hi\/entertainment\/8471625.stm\" >http:\/\/news.bbc.co.uk\/1\/hi\/entertainment\/8471625.stm<\/a><\/p>\n<p>So who do you think should feature on the single?  Keep it realistic bearing in mind it has to appeal to as many people as possible&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>\nI&#8217;m thinking keep to the Worlds and UK &amp; Irelands biggest acts and a mix of genres to appeal to as many people as possible&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>U2 &#8211; Bono (have already written a song with Jay Z for Haiti)<br \/>\nJay-Z<br \/>\nRobbie Williams<br \/>\nLady Gaga<br \/>\nBeyonce<br \/>\nThe Killers &#8211; Brandon Flowers<br \/>\nColdplay &#8211; Chris Martin<br \/>\nLeona Lewis<br \/>\nShakira<br \/>\nKaty Perry<br \/>\nGreen Day &#8211; Billie Joe Armstrong<br \/>\nPaul McCartney<br \/>\nSnow Patrol &#8211; Gary Lightbody<br \/>\nBlack Eyed Peas &#8211; Fergie &amp; will.i.am<br \/>\nRihanna<br \/>\nJustin Timberlake<br \/>\nKings of Leon &#8211; Nathan Followill<br \/>\nThe Who &#8211; Roger Daltrey<\/p>\n<p>I think alot of the above acts are probably on the Sony label or a label Cowell has connections with.<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As you may already know Simon Cowell has been asked to organise a charity single to raise funds for the Haiti earthquake appeal.
