BUT&#8230;I used:<\/p>\n<p>BD Company BD Insulin Syringes &#8211; Ultra-Fine Needle &#8211; 3\/10cc 30g 12.7mm (1\/2 in) 90ct BD Micro-Fine IV Needle Insulin Syringes 1 cc Needle Size- 30 G x 1\/2&quot; Box of 100 BD328411 @ $25.00 (they where covered by insurance)<\/p>\n<p>Granted my wife injected me ( and seemed to enjoy it&#8230;hmmmm). Although I have injected myself in the past. I think people have the misconception that you inject straight in 1\/2 inch. My doctor taught us to inject at a 30 degree angle&#8230;and&#8230;you dont have to &#8216;seat&#8217; the needle all the way down to the vial in the injection area \ud83d\ude2e . <\/p>\n<p>I was on insulin for 2 years and never had a major problem. The wife would occasionally hit a &#8216;nerve&#8217; but those times where rare.
