However, even your smallest effort to contribute in this quest counts.  Designer Elizabeth Joy Wong has worked on a simple phenomenon and has prepared a bicycle powered generator prototype. A friction drum attached with the bicycle wheel spins the alternator when the user pedals the bicycle and generates electricity which is stored in the power pack. <\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.instablogsimages.com\/images\/2010\/01\/21\/bicycle-powered-generator-_02_8qSgB_17621.jpg\" alt=\"bicycle powered generator _02\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The idea is to provide green energy in emergency situations or otherwise when you don\u2019t want to use gas or grid electricity.
