Nicole Kidman has been dropped from three films, just weeks after the Oscar winner’s stiff performance in the movie musical Nine<\/em> was panned by critics. Kidman’s roles in the upcoming features Bel Ami<\/em>, Monte Carlo<\/em>, and a remake of Marilyn Monroe’s cinema classic How To Marry A Millionaire<\/em> have been recast, according to a scoop featured in the Feb. 1 issue of Star Magazine<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Michael Levine, a publicist with public relations firm LCO, points to Nicole’s “advanced age” — she’s 42 — as well as a decline in box office bankability as contributing factors in her new career troubles.<\/p>\n

“Nicole’s not aging gracefully, and it’s hurting her chances in Hollywood,”<\/em> Michael says a matter-of-fact. <\/p>\n

Of course, it isn’t all bad news for Nic. The star is still set to play the first man to undergo a sex change operation in The Danish Girl, expected to debut in theaters next year.<\/p>\n
