The Net Safety Ultraviolet\/Infrared flame detectors are also FM 3260 certified and CSA, ANSI\/UL, ATEX, INMETRO and GOST-R approved for Class I, Division 1 (Zone 1), Groups B, C, and D.<\/p>\n
The FMEDA testing performed by exida\u00ae yielded a Safe Failure Fraction that qualifies the UV\/IR flame detectors as SIL2 devices in accordance with the IEC61508 standard. The SIL2 qualification allows the installation of the UV\/IR into any SIL2 rated system. Net Safety now offers two SIL2 qualified devices for industrial flame detection, the UV\/IR and the Phoenix Triple IR.<\/p>\n
