{"id":213615,"date":"2010-01-22T16:39:54","date_gmt":"2010-01-22T21:39:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/chicagopressrelease.com\/?p=12694"},"modified":"2010-01-22T16:39:54","modified_gmt":"2010-01-22T21:39:54","slug":"fbi-searches-dr-gautam-gupta%e2%80%99s-weight-loss-clinics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/213615","title":{"rendered":"FBI searches Dr. Gautam Gupta\u2019s weight-loss clinics"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>FBI agents executed search warrants this week at five clinics associated with Dr. Gautam Gupta, known for his radio ads that air across Chicago offering advice on weight loss, officials confirmed today.<\/p>\n<p>The warrants were executed Thursday at all five of Gupta&#8217;s clinic locations, according to the FBI.<\/p>\n<p>Spokesman Ross Rice said agents visited clinic addresses in Chicago, Rockford, South Beloit, Arlington Heights and Naperville. <span id=\"more-12694\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>No information was immediately available on what agents were seeking, but Rice said there were no arrests made and no charges were filed.<\/p>\n<p>A woman who answered the phone at Gupta&#8217;s main office in Rockford declined to comment on the warrants.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are open for business,&#8221; she said. &#8220;We are seeing patients.
