The concept here is pretty simple (and<a href=\"http:\/\/www.engadget.com\/2005\/08\/01\/touch-glide-iron-has-legs-knows-how-to-use-em\/\"> pretty genius<\/a>): users have to physically press down on the iron to make it touch whatever piece of wrinkled clothing is beneath, and as soon as they release pressure, the iron pops up to prevent accidental charring.
