The vehicle looks much like a Formula car and features a lightweight and aerodynamic body. <\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.instablogsimages.com\/images\/2010\/01\/23\/ev-mini-sport_2_TK87Y_69.jpg\" alt=\"ev mini sport_2\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Priced at about $23,018, without a battery, the vehicle which is categorized as a motorized bicycle in Japan has a motor output of 0.59KW, which can be powered by either lead batteries or lithium polymer batteries rated at current capacities from 40 to 120Ah.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.instablogsimages.com\/images\/2010\/01\/23\/ev-mini-sport_3_hCzsP_69.jpg\" alt=\"ev mini sport_3\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The company claims that with an inexpensive lead acid battery, the vehicle will have a range of about 25km, which can be enhanced by choosing a lithium counterpart, which offers a range of about 90km at a top speed of 70kph.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.instablogsimages.com\/images\/2010\/01\/23\/ev-mini-sport_4_BjbqZ_69.jpg\" alt=\"ev mini sport_4\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Via: <a href=\"http:\/\/techon.nikkeibp.co.jp\/english\/NEWS_EN\/20100122\/179522\/\">TechOn<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Eco Factor: Zero-emission single-seater car powered by electricity.
