But first, Google.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/arstechnica.com\/business\/news\/2010\/01\/chrome-os-interview-1.ars\">Ars sat down with<\/a> the engineering director of Google&#8217;s Chrome OS project to talk about the past, present, and future of the project. There&#8217;s a lot of good detail about the relationship between Chrome and Android, the genesis of Chrome OS, and much more.<\/p>\n<p>The Google\/China story has enough legs to qualify as a &#8220;centipede&#8221; at this point. After saying that it would <a href=\"http:\/\/arstechnica.com\/tech-policy\/news\/2010\/01\/google-v-china-the-chinese-government-reacts.ars\">no longer censor<\/a> Chinese search results and that it was ready to pull out of China, Google also admitted to being the victim of a sophisticated cyberattack that went after more than 30 companies.
