ABC News \u201cNightline\u201d outperformed \u201cThe Tonight Show\u201d for the thirtieth consecutive week among Total Viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research for the week of January 11, 2010. This is the first time \u201cNightline\u201d has beaten \u201cTonight Show\u201d among Total Viewers for thirty consecutive weeks since at least the 1991\/92 season, which is as far as records date.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Last week \u201cNightline\u201d aired extensive coverage of the earthquake in Haiti, a report from Bill Weir embedded with US soldiers from the Afghanistan-Pakistan border, and a follow-up to a \u201cNightline\u201d investigation by Brian Ross on the acquittal of a UAE royal sheikh that prompted questions from US State Department officials after the report aired.<\/span><\/p>\n
