White pleaded guilty last year to sexually abusing eight girls at an Urbana elementary school and two at a school in Normal.<\/p>\n
He is serving a 60-year prison sentence.<\/p>\n
The appellate court said Normal-based Unit 5 school district could not be held liable for White’s behavior, including the injury of one of the students.<\/p>\n
White was arrested in 2007. He taught at Colene Hoose Elementary School in Normal but was forced to resign in April 2005.<\/p>\n
