Happy birthday TL!<span id=\"more-1328\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/freakbits.com\/media\/torrentleech.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/freakbits.com\/media\/torrentleech.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"torrentleech\" width=\"200\" height=\"150\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-1332\" \/><\/a>In BitTorrent terms, a site surviving for half a decade is quite an achievement, especially for one as large and respected as TorrentLeech.<\/p>\n<p>Born on 9th January 2005, TL cracks open the champagne and starts cutting up the cake today as it reaches a special birthday.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Today its a very special day for us..! TorrentLeech becomes 5 (!!!) years old!! We would like to thank you ALL OF YOU, each one individually for bearing with us, sharing more than just your files and folders,&#8221; write the site&#8217;s staff in an announcement.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We hope to be around for the years to come, and we truly wish we meet your expectations, to be the place you can call HOME,&#8221; they add.<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, many BitTorrent do call TL home, around 180,000 in fact.<\/p>\n<p>The staff finish up by suggesting they might throw a party.
