Last year (Australian Prime Minister) Kevin Rudd claimed global warming was the \u201cgreat moral challenge of our generation\u201d<\/p>\n

But the climate sure has changed since Climategate and the farcical failure in Copenhagen. This year global warming is the scam that Rudd barely dares to mention<\/a>:<\/p>\n

\nKevin Rudd has made Australia Day policy speeches around the nation on each of the past five days, with two to come. We\u2019ve heard about productivity, fiscal responsibility, infrastructure, jobs and disadvantage. Today he speaks about health; tomorrow (unless there is a change) he\u2019s due to talk about cities. <\/em><\/p>\n

Anything odd about this list? You\u2019ve got it. Climate change and the need for an emissions trading scheme haven\u2019t been the focus of any speech so far. <\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Remember how Malcolm Turnbull last year warned his (Conservative) Liberal Party to pass Rudd\u2019s emissions trading scheme or face a double dissolution election on the issue that would wipe them out? Just months later, climate change is in fact so smelly that Rudd would like it to disappear as an election issue completely. So fast has this faith imploded.<\/p>\n

Tim Blair recalls the days when Kevin Rudd hailed the IPCC as a serious, sober arbiter of global warming truth<\/a>. Let\u2019s see if he dares repeat those claims this year, after the IPCC crashed in the Himalayas<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The information in particular question here is on page 2 at that link, so be aware that there actually are 2 pages. What is particularly astounding is the fact that even though now proved so patently incorrect, they pursue the original agenda, without even blinking, scoffing it away as if it is just a minor glitch. This original premise, now patently false, made up part of the ‘body of work’ that won the IPCC and Al Gore their Nobel Prizes.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
