Like all local authorities in UK they operate a Gold, Silver, Bronze command system which will no doubt be in a command centre (possibly a bunker of sorts).<\/p>\n<p>I always wondered if Birmingham had a system of air raid sirens. I remember a few years back I heard on in Walmley, but could not pin point it&#8217;s location &#8211; not to mention that it could have been a transportable Carter siren (made by Gents of Leicester).
