But she was surprised to discover that her blog was censored by the authorities on Friday, January 22, 2010. So, the blog, with a single post, has been censored in less than a week as<a href=\"http:\/\/fatmaarabicca.blogspot.com\/2010\/01\/404.html\"> this link <\/a>shows. <\/p>\n<p>Bloggers were quick to express their opposition to this censorship. <a href=\"http:\/\/tnkhanouff.hautetfort.com\/archive\/2010\/01\/22\/f88d2358622fb6d3f369b201eae94273.html\"><em>Khannouf <\/em><\/a> wrote:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Le nez bouch\u00e9, le regard embu\u00e9 par un rhume et la t\u00eate fi\u00e9vreuse, par une col\u00e8re, entre autres : Fatma vient d\u2019\u00eatre censur\u00e9e. Apr\u00e8s ses tracas, avec courage son blog est ressuscit\u00e9 par un billet \u00ab unique \u00bb post\u00e9 le 17 janvier, et 53 commentaires furent re\u00e7us pleins d\u2019enthousiasme de retrouver cette jeune femme au verbe franc.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"translation\"> A stuffy nose,  eyes clouded by a cold and a feverish head from anger. Indeed, Fatma has been censored. Why did they shut your blog again? What happened? As far as I can see, I don&#39;t see anything on the page that would give them even a quarter of an excuse to censor it.<\/div>\n<p>News was quick to move to <em>Twitter<\/em>, where users informed one another of the block. Here are some tweet shots about the matter :<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/globalvoicesonline.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/arabica-censure-300x91.jpg\" alt=\"arabica censure\" title=\"arabica censure\" width=\"300\" height=\"91\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-118881\" \/><\/p>\n<p> But <em>Fatma Arabicca<\/em> is not the  only victim of censorship today as journalist Sofiene Chourabi has seen his blog <a href=\"http:\/\/sofiench.blogspot.com\/2010\/01\/blog-post_22.html\"><em>For a Democratic, Social, and Solidarity Tunisia <\/em><\/a> being censored for the fourth time in two months.<\/p>\n<p>So US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton was not wrong when she mentioned Tunisia among the countries controlling and limiting the access to internet in her <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foreignpolicy.com\/articles\/2010\/01\/21\/internet_freedom\">speech<\/a> about internet freedom delivered at the Newseum in Washington, D.C. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Tunisian blogger Fatma Arabicca, who was arrested two months ago, resumed blogging a few days ago, and more specifically on Sunday, January 17, 2010 .
