The rest, as they say, is history.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve seen our favorite computer go from an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lowendmac.com\/compact\/original-macintosh-128k.html\" >awkward infancy<\/a>, to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lowendmac.com\/500\/macintosh-tv.html\" >almost dying in its teens<\/a>, and now being a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tuaw.com\/2009\/12\/05\/apple-kicks-butt-takes-names-in-october-desktop-and-laptop-reta\/\">profitable prodigy in adulthood<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>It has spawned a popular family of siblings, from the iPod series of media players to the iPhone. Somehow, it&#8217;s fitting that we may see the birth of the newest member of the family later this week. <\/p>\n<p>Watching the &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tuaw.com\/2010\/01\/18\/found-footage-the-story-of-macintosh\/\">Story of Macintosh<\/a>&#8221; video in the past few weeks has introduced the young minds behind the first Mac to most of the current generation.
