My friend wants to pick up a car with the following limitations<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>[FONT=Symbol]\u00b7[\/FONT]Needs to be Petrol \u0096 to ensure that he does not need to have high maintenance<\/li>\n<li>[FONT=Symbol]\u00b7[\/FONT]Should be powerful and fun to drive<\/li>\n<li>[FONT=Symbol]\u00b7[\/FONT]Monthly usage would be about 500kms<\/li>\n<li>[FONT=Symbol]\u00b7[\/FONT]Bachelor so not much use of the back seat or a huge boot<\/li>\n<li>[FONT=Symbol]\u00b7[\/FONT]Would be used for highway driving as well once in a month<\/li>\n<li>[FONT=Symbol]\u00b7[\/FONT]F.E is not that important, though it\u0092s a consideration as well<\/li>\n<li>[FONT=Symbol]\u00b7[\/FONT]Handling and safety would be more important<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Based on the above limitations, I suggested him to go for a Palio 1.6 GTX (thanks for the various reviews in Tbhp). I did put across a disclaimer that it would be a tough find if you do get one. He has been searching ever since (1 month now) and hasn\u0092t been able to find any decent car. He did come across a Palio 1.6 which was a LPG version which he is not too sure about.<br \/>\n  Now for the questions, which I need assistance with<\/p>\n<ol style=\"list-style-type: decimal\">\n<li>Is my suggestion correct? What other cars would you recommend<\/li>\n<li>How worthwhile is it to pick up a LPG Palio? Any change in performance since Petrol has not been used for a while.<\/li>\n<li>In addition to the other checks mentioned in \u0093buying a car\u0094 section, is there anything else that he should be checking in the car (Palio specific check)?<\/li>\n<li>Since he is buying from a different state, what charges would he have to incur other than the registration charges.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi guys, This is first official post in Tbhp other than the introduction post.
